Who we are
A club with all sorts of people
We have adults, teenagers and children in our classes. Many of the children started with us as white belts and are now well up the belts.
Several of the adults have come back to taekwondo after years away and found new pleasure in it here. Others started because their children did — and rather than just watch from the side, they joined in.
The club is based at Gunnar Clausens Vej 19C in Viby J. View on map. We are also on Facebook, where cancellations and changes are announced.

The dojang
The large dojang is a good 300 m². We also have a small dojang used for smaller groups and extra sessions.
The organisation
Who we belong to
Lyseng Taekwondo is part of a group of taekwondo clubs under Taekwondo Life Academy. We are also a member of the Dansk Taekwondo Forbund (DTaF).
Our grandmaster comes from Favrskov Taekwondo Club and founded Taekwondo Life Academy (TLA), which we are part of — an association of several clubs in Denmark and a few in Germany. From time to time TLA runs courses and seminars, well worth attending if you want to develop in taekwondo.
When we have students going for a dan grading, that is held at TLA too. It is usually a good run-up with plenty of hard and enjoyable training, ending in the grading itself. Once the hopefuls have passed, the whole thing finishes with a dinner of Korean food where we celebrate the new dan holders.
The board
The people keeping the club running
The club is run by a volunteer board elected at the annual general meeting. If you have a question, catch one of them at training.
