Membership and fees
What it costs, how to join — and what to do if you decide to leave again at some point.
Prices
What does it cost?
The same price for adults and children. Covers all training in every class.
The licence costs 200 DKK per year, per person, but it is part of the membership fee, so you pay nothing extra. It is compulsory and includes insurance covering you if you are injured, or if you injure someone else, while training at the club.
Paid once, when you join. It covers the licence for the first year.
You can try the training before paying anything. How it works.
Joining
How to join
When you want to join, your instructor gives you a form to hand to the treasurer. You are also welcome to drop it in the postbox by the lounge corner. Remember that the first 2 weeks of training are free.
Do remember to tick whether the club may use photos of you on the website and on social media — for instance when you pull off something impressive.
Once you have joined and paid for the first time, a taekwondo licence is ordered, your name goes on the lists, and you become eligible for gradings when the time is right.
Remember to check in on the iPad when you arrive.
Payment goes through Unioo
The club uses a system called Unioo for membership fees. When your account is set up, you get an email or text from Unioo with a link. There you create a user and add your payment card, so the fee is collected automatically from then on.
After that you can sign in at unioo.dk and see your fees, payments and details. If you need help setting it up, ask the treasurer at training or write to the club — see Contact.
Leaving
If you want to stop
We are always sorry to see someone leave, but life is full of things, and taekwondo is not always top of the list. If you fancy it again another time, you are very welcome back.
If you have criticism or praise, we would be glad to hear it if you have the time. It lets us change what we do — or take pleasure in the things we get right.
Note
Cancelling your membership has to be done in writing to the treasurer. Ask for the treasurer’s email address at training, or write to the club via Contact.
If you do not cancel in writing, you are still a member and still owe the fee. Unfortunately you cannot expect a refund if you leave in the middle of a payment period, or cancel after the fact.
